Conflict prevention and resolution

The Mission engages with government institutions and civil society to reduce potential drivers and sources of conflict.

Overview

Conflict prevention and resolution are at the centre of the Mission’s work. The Mission engages with government institutions and civil society to reduce potential drivers and sources of conflict, for examples hate crimes and bias-motivated incidents. It also mediates between various political and civic actors to increase communication to support greater community cohesion, especially in returnee areas and divided communities.
