The Mission assists Bosnia and Herzegovina to with developing its cyber security mechanisms and policies, in view of relevant standards and commitments.

Overview

The Mission works to enhance the ability of Bosnia and Herzegovina to prevent and respond effectively to security threats emanating from cyberspace, in accordance with the country’s OSCE commitments. The Mission works with authorities at all levels to support them in the development of a national cyber security framework strategy and necessary policies and mechanisms. It also supports the country with the establishment of Computer Emergency Response Teams and enhancing international co-operation in the field of cyber security.

From Dialogue to Action: OSCE Mission to BiH Highlights Importance of Cybersecurity Partnerships

Sarajevo, 23 September 2025 – As cyber threats continue to grow in complexity and cross national and sectoral boundaries, addressing them requires co-ordinated action and collaboration. To meet this challenge, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a conference and panel discussion “Supporting Awareness Raising on Cybersecurity Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Best Practice,” in Sarajevo.

Call for Applications: Participation in the mentorship programme for women aspiring cyber professionals

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is implementing the Mentorship programme for Women Aspiring Cyber Professionals. The programme aims to capacitate, connect and empower women cyber professionals, increasing the gender and age diversity of the cybersecurity labour force, both in the public and private sectors and incentivizing professional and academic excellence in the field of cybersecurity. Paired with mentors, and cybersecurity field women experts, selected mentees will benefit from job shadowing, workshops, networking opportunities, study visits and participation at OSCE events, ultimately advancing their capacities as cybersecurity professionals.
