Countering terrorism

In line with the OSCE Consolidated Framework for the Fight against Terrorism, the Mission assists authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in preventing and combating terrorism in a manner that upholds the rule of law and ensures respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Overview

The OSCE Mission supports Bosnia and Herzegovina authorities in their comprehensive and co-operative approach to counterterrorism, as well as in preventing and countering violent extremism and radicalisation that lead to terrorism. The Mission provides targeted policy guidance and expertise, conducts tailored capacity-building and facilitates the exchange of best practices at all levels of authority.
