The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mission) condemns the reported attack on BN Television journalist Vesna Vukmirović and her crew while they were carrying out their professional duties near Doboj.

Journalists must be able to work freely and safely, without intimidation, threats, or violence. Attacks on media professionals undermine media freedom, the public's right to information and democratic accountability.

The Mission calls on the relevant authorities to investigate this incident promptly, thoroughly and impartially, ensuring those responsible are held accountable under the law.
