Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Labour Exploitation in Supply Chains Analysis of Legal, Institutional and Policy Framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Trafficking in human beings (THB) for labor exploitation is a complex phenomenon in and a pressing issue in that today’s global economy, which is characterized by highly complex and multi-layered supply chains containing goods, materials, and labor from all corners of the globe. The problem has been recognized at the international level since the adoption of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children.
