A two-day conference “10 Years of Combating Discrimination in Bosnia and Herzegovina” will discuss whether the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination (the Law) has strengthened the mechanisms designed to combat discrimination and whether these mechanisms have provided functioning “framework for realization of equal rights and opportunities to all persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, as stipulated by the Law.
The conference aims to foster effective co-operation and coordination between relevant stakeholders in combating discrimination, to enhance understanding of judges and legal professionals, to share experience and improve knowledge on comparable best practices in combating discrimination, as well as to call for development of policies, programs and strategies at their appropriate level.Resources
