Response to Domestic Violence and Co-ordinated Victim Protection in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska
Domestic violence is a complex and widespread phenomenon that requires a co-ordinated state response to ensure victims’ safety as well as effective prosecution and sanctioning of perpetrators. It is considered a serious human rights violation and, consequently, international human rights standards impose a positive obligation on states to provide protection and services for victims.
