Combating human trafficking

The Mission works alongside domestic institutions and with international partners to enhance the legislative and policy framework for the prevention and prosecution of trafficking in human beings.

Overview

The Mission monitors individual cases and advocates for harmonization of the country’s anti-trafficking legislation with international standards.

In its efforts to strengthen the domestic authorities’ capacity of countering trafficking in human beings, the Mission develops educational materials for judges and prosecutors and provides training opportunities for all practitioners involved in counter-trafficking.

Strengthening competence

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina offers courses and learning resources to support practitioners and other interested audiences in the OSCE participating States.
