Some 76 school secretaries at primary and secondary schools in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, as well as representatives of the Canton’s Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and Education Inspectorate completed a three-day workshop organized by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7 December 2016 in Mostar, with the aim of enhancing co-operation in education on multiple levels.

Participants exchanged information about the current challenges and issues that school secretaries face in their daily work. They discussed recommendations to improve mutual communication and implement relevant education legislation. The discussion should benefit Cantonal Ministry officials when they begin work on drafting education-related legislation in the future.

The event is part of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s continuous efforts to improve the country’s education sector.
